HOW DO I RETURN A LUNYA ITEM?
We want you to be completely satisfied with your Lunya purchase. Not the perfect fit? Just let us know—we’re happy to help! We offer free shipping on all returns. Lunya accepts returns of unworn/unwashed items within 30 days of your ship date. We've made it simple for you to initiate an online return here.

I WOULD LIKE TO RETURN FOR A REFUND…
You may be making a huge mistake, but no worries, we got you. Select the item you're sending back and request a refund. You will get an Instant Refund code but you don't have to use it. Print your return label and mail back the original item with the packing slip included inside the package. If you received your order in one of our ‘Good For…’ shipping bags, we made those conveniently re-sealable so you can use that to ship your return back to us. Once received, we will refund the full balance back to your original payment method.
I JUST NEED TO EXCHANGE FOR A DIFFERENT COLOR OR SIZE…
Sweet–you’re making the right call. Simply select the item you're sending back. You will be prompted to select a new size and color. After that, print the provided packing slip and return label and mail back the original item. We will ship the new item to you right away.
I NEED TO EXCHANGE FOR A DIFFERENT STYLE…
Great call. Select the item you are sending back and request a refund. Use the provided Instant Refund code (it's just like a gift card code) to buy any new item. Next, print your return label and packing slip and mail back the original item. Once received, we will refund any remaining balance to your original payment method.
BUT IT WAS A GIFT! WHAT NOW?
No problem! We are happy to allow you to make gift returns. Enter your order number, zip code of where gift was shipped, along with the name of the person the order was originally shipped. Enter your email address and we will send you a return prepaid return label. Need help? Email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will gladly track down details.
If you aren’t sure what you want, we can issue you a store credit that can be used online or in-store. That credit will never expire so you can take your time deciding what you would like instead.
Just need to exchange a gift? After selecting your return item(s), we will send you a return label ad Instant Refund code. Use the code to place a new order and we will send it right away. Use your Instant Refund code any way you like! The Instant Refund code is just like shopping with a gift card. For a higher priced item, you can pay the difference at checkout.
I AM EXPECTING A REFUND...HOW LONG DOES THIS TAKE?
Please allow 5 - 8 business days for us to receive your order. Heads up - it may take up to 3 days for us to process your return in house. Once your items have undergone (and passed!) inspection, we will issue your refund to the original form of payment and will notify you of your refund via email. After your refund has been issued by us, please allow 2 additional business days for those funds to be posted to your credit card account.
OH NO! WHAT IF I THINK I RECEIVED SOMETHING THAT IS DAMAGED?
WHAT IS THE SHIPPING POLICY?
All orders are fulfilled within 1-3 business days from the date the order is placed. Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email letting you know that our fulfillment team has received your order. Once your order is fulfilled, you will receive an email notification with your tracking information.
Currently, we only ship domestically (including Alaska and Hawaii). At this time, we cannot ship internationally or to Canada.
WHAT SHIPPING PROVIDERS DO YOU USE?
For all ground shipping orders, we use the United States Postal Service. Ground shipping may take up to 8 business days to arrive from the day you receive your shipping confirmation.
For orders under $200.00 there is a USPS domestic flat-rate shipping charge of $5.00.
We offer complimentary domestic shipping via USPS for all orders over $200.00.
DO YOU OFFER EXPEDITED SHIPPING?
Yes! We offer FedEx 2-Day Shipping for a $18 flat rate. Orders placed Thursday after 2pm PST will not be shipped over the weekend. If the order is placed before 2pm PST on Thursday, it will ship out on Friday and be delivered the following Tuesday. For all orders placed on Saturday or Sunday, orders will be shipped out the following Monday and will be delivered that Wednesday.
Please note that while we prioritize these orders, there still may be a processing time of up to three days before your order is shipped.
FedEx Overnight Shipping is available upon request. In order to receive this service, please call us 310.395.2666 or email email@example.com. Please note we can only accommodate these requests Monday through Thursday during business hours. While we will do our best to fulfill your request, we cannot guarantee that this service will be available.
MY ORDER DIDN’T ARRIVE WHEN I THOUGHT IT WOULD!
While we totally empathize (believe us - we love our PJs too), due to internal shipping issues with our carrier that are beyond our control, arrival times are not guaranteed and shipping costs are non-refundable.
EFF! MY PACKAGE WAS LOST, STOLEN, OR DAMAGED!
Oh no! Please file a claim with the shipping carrier first, then shoot us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org letting us know your order number and your specific claim number. Once we receive that, we will work together to come to the best resolution.
WHAT SIZE SHOULD I BUY?

WHAT IS FRIENDBUY?
Friendbuy is our referral program. If you love Lunya and think a friend would too, you can send them a $20 code via email to spend on their first Lunya order. When they successfully apply their discount code at checkout, you will receive an email with $20 for yourself to redeem on any future order. You may send codes to as many friends as you want and will receive a $20 reward for each friend that makes a first purchase using their code. WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO CARE FOR MY LUNYA?
We recommend you wash your Lunya sleepwear in cold water (machine or hang wash) with like colors, and lay flat to dry. We also wrote this handy blog post to walk you through our wash instructions and care tips.
WHERE DID THE NAME LUNYA COME FROM?
Lunya is a play on the Swedish word “lugna,” meaning “to calm.” It is phonetically pronounced as lunya, so we decided to swap the “g” for a “y”. Since Lunya also resembles the Latin word “luna,” meaning moon, it couldn’t be more perfect for sleepwear.

To us, being ethical means doing our best to do what’s right for our employees/workers, our customers, the environment and the world around us.
The clothing we manufacture comes from small, family-owned mills and whenever possible we contract with factories that practice Fair Trade policies. The more we grow, and as our manufacturing quantities increase, this will continue to be a priority for us. When developing a product, we choose countries that are best-in-class at the desired raw material fiber and quality, over less expensive labor.
We are doing what we can by minimizing production quantities with demand-oriented ordering to minimize unnecessary waste and unnecessary production. We are also using mostly natural materials which break down better and are less of a pollutant than the synthetic fibers that are being found in oceans and water supplies. The environment is top of mind for us and as we grow we are excited to be a part of the solution and to help minimize our carbon footprint.
WHERE DO YOU SOURCE YOUR FABRICS AND MANUFACTURE YOUR CLOTHING?
We source and manufacture in the USA, Peru, and China. We have chosen where to source and manufacture based on where we can get the very best materials. For example, we vertically develop finished goods made from pima cotton harvested in Peru where they have the very best long staple cotton fibers, so that there is no additional transport of raw goods.
WHY AREN'T ALL YOUR CLOTHES PRODUCED LOCALLY?
Our products are manufactured in the USA, Peru, and Asia. Our goal is to deliver the best possible product that we can. That means seeking out the best raw material and manufacturing skill sets. For example, when it comes to our silk, we went to a city in China that is renowned for their silk quality, and their unmatched sewing techniques. We have partnered with a family-owned vertical factory to work with. This allows us to create the best product possible, by partnering with those who specialize in the craft.
DO YOU CONSIDER YOURSELF A "GREEN COMPANY"?
Above anything else, we pride ourself on our quality. Our mission is to deliver the best product, made from the best materials, using the best construction techniques. This means that we can’t always be green, but we do take sustainability into consideration and try to promote sustainability whenever possible.
HERE ARE SOME WAYS THAT WE ARE SUSTAINABLE...
Seasonless. Unlike many other clothing brands, we do not come out with new styles every season and encourage our customer to buy into new product. We would rather see you buy less, and buy better. Lunya lasts season after season, cycle after cycle.
Small-batch production. We keep all of our raw materials lean. This means we only buy exactly what we need - fabric is not wasted or thrown into a landfill. Same goes for our packaging. Everything we buy for shipping, we use before we get more.
